Biography

L eanne Rogers is the founder of Leanne Marie Weddings Mayan Riviera. She started LM Weddings Mayan Riviera in order to offer a more personal and customized service to destination wedding couples.

Leanne is a Dallas, Texas native whose whole family has always had an affinity for Mexico. So much so, that her sister choose to have a destination wedding on one of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico. After the experience of assisting her sister with the planning and day of coordination Leanne knew that a career as a wedding consultant would be her future.

She decided to move to Mexico after visiting Playa del Carmen when, during one Spring Break, she fell in love…with the country! So she graduated from Texas A&M University that same year and headed south of the border. After traveling the country and teaching English in a small Mexican town for about a year, Leanne decided to settle and make her home in Playa del Carmen, also known as Paradise!

In “Playa” she worked in the hotel industry for a couple of years, and then the perfect opportunity presented itself and LM Weddings Mayan Riviera was created. It was her desire to offer customized service on a highly personal level to the bride and groom.

Through her years of living in Playa del Carmen Leanne has become very familiar with the area and is an asset to any bride. She speaks fluent Spanish, which allows her to communicate freely with customers and vendors, and she understands the most effective ways to conduct business within the Mexican culture.

She graduated from the ACPWC (Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants) in 2007 and is working towards her professional title within the association. The wedding industry is truly something about which Leanne is passionate and finds it a real pleasure to assist her clients in anyway possible.
