| What is a personal wedding coordinator? |
A personal wedding coordinator is the go to person on the day of the wedding for all the vendors, staff, guests, family, and of course most importantly the bride and groom.
When planning a wedding there are usually only two people who know the ins and outs of the day - the bride and the groom. So, unless they have a personal wedding coordinator they will be the only go to people during the big day. It is my belief that the day of your wedding should be as stress-free and happy as possible and it is the work of a personal wedding coordinator that makes this happen.
She is there to run the day, make sure all appointments and drop offs are met, fix any problems that arise (and no matter how hard you try they will arise,) coordinate the guests, and to provide the moral support and friendly guidance needed by everyone on this very monumental and memorable day! |
| Why do I need a personal wedding coordinator if there is already one on site? |

As your wedding coordinator I will provide you, the wedding couple, with a personalized consulting service, attending to your needs. I work as your personal contact between the on-site facility coordinator and the client. Communication between the on-site facility coordinator and clients out of the area can be trying at times. They are usually very busy with many different weddings and/or events hosted by their venue. They can take up to two to three weeks to respond to your e-mails and phone calls. As your contact between here and there I will be able to provide updates and answers within a timely manner.
The on-site facility coordinators are there to attend to the operations of the facility and can sometimes be hosting more than two or three weddings and/or events in one weekend. I will be dedicated to you, your guests, and your desires.
I am fluent in Spanish and am able to communicate faster with the facility coordinator. I have more than two years of experience working within the Mexican business industry and have become very familiar with the Mexican Business Customs. |

First, I, Leanne, have been professionally trained by the ACPWC, Association of Certified Professional Wedding Coordinators.
The best way to explain it would be that I did not choose this career, but it chose me. A personal wedding coordinator is the ultimate service you could provide to someone because that day is so special and should be treated so. I am very passionate about the service and I want nothing more than for you to have your perfect wedding.
Also, I have personal experience of being on your side of planning of a destination wedding from afar. Since my sister was married in Mexico a few years back I was able to see her situation from a different aspect than that of the wedding coordinator. I saw her frustrations and stress that I hope to keep my clients from ever experiencing. |
| What is budget creation and management? |

Once services have been contracted with Leanne Marie Weddings we will begin to develop a plan in order to stay within your designated budget. We will investigate your options to make your budget and desires meet. I respect your budget in every way and there will be no surprises in the end.
Also, you will be given a payment plan and be sent friendly payment reminders. |
| What is timeline creation and management? |

Once services have been contracted with Leanne Marie Weddings you will be given a planning calendar for the months, weeks, and/or days leading up to your wedding. As well as, throughout the process we will be developing your day of wedding timeline to ensure all areas are covered.
Upon arrival in Mexico we will have a wrap-up meeting in order to finalize the timeline and events for your wedding. |
| Where is the home office for Leanne Marie Weddings located? |

I am physically located in downtown Playa del Carmen, Mexico. I also have a location near Dallas, Texas. |
| What location packages do you offer? |
|
As your personal wedding coordinator I do not offer venue packages. I am independent from any hotel, restaurant, or venue so every wedding is customized to your desires.
I am able to offer referrals if requested and useful information about locations in the area. But if you already have your locations in mind then I am able to work directly with them as well. |
| Do I have to use the vendors referred by Leanne Marie Weddings? |

No, not necessarily. However, I highly recommend my vendors as I know they are some of the most reliable and professional vendors in the area. You may use the vendors of your choice but Leanne Marie Weddings will not be held responsible for the actions of or failure to fulfill duties of the vendors contracted by the client. |
